Meanwhile, Gaia made personal visits to the workplaces of both Aphrodite and Gawain, alerting them that more was to come. From Gawain, she asked only for trust. From Aphrodite, she requested a commission.
Meanwhile, Nimue attempted to do some scrying with a book she received from Gawain. It went badly, resulting in her being spirtually drained and losing consciousness. She received a minor head injury in the process. Her absence worried Gawain, and Asclepius found and treated her after having to break into her store.
