Digest of June 20, 2011 - June 27, 2011
Jul. 2nd, 2011 01:58 amFor most of the godlings, the week was fairly unremarkable.
Ariadne, Apollo and Odin spent it working as normal, wondering what the hubbub was about, and noticed nothing unusual.
Aphrodite spent it working on her grandest commission piece yet, and spending some time in the company of her gentlemen friends, particularly Poseidon and Odin.
Poseidon spent much of it dealing with his moody teenage daughter Chelsea, who was vying for his attention and doing nasty things to get it, even as she observed her fifteenth birthday on the 24th. Otherwise, he was busy with Aphrodite and threatening Medusa to come over to his side.
Asclepius visited Nimue's shop in honor of the summer observances (Solstice and Midsummer), as well as to check on her, and noticed a lot of new books in her office on divination, deeper spiritual communication and other similar subjects.
Nimue, in the meantime, spent the time researching the emails and the blast more, and doing her best to keep it secret from Gawain and Asclepius. She also began having odd dreams.
Other godlings having bizarre dreams included Medusa and Erato, as Corruption steadily worked to win them over.
Gawain spent the week working at the bookstore and preparing for an imminent return trip to Washington State. He feels lonely by himself on the Great Plains and could use the company of his fellow godlings. Besides, he has also received word of the existence, possibly somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, of a rare, previously unknown manuscript written by Emma Jung that concerns the Grail's whereabouts.
After recovering from an unexpected detour, Dionysus left Tonino, with his car (mostly) fixed, and is making his very slow way towards the mountains and shore. He's had a lot to think about over the last few days, and is pondering how best to use what he's found out.
