Hades met Persephone in San Francisco, and they had a pleasant reunion over a picnic in the countryside. Despite some initial hesitance on Hades' part, especially with his pact with Aphrodite a shadow on the moment, they rekindled their romance, emotionally and physically. Afterward, Persephone took him to meet with her mortal mother.

Back in New York, Aphrodite was concerned that Narcissus had missed their shoot, apparently having gone missing without a trace.

For the other godlings, it was a largely uneventful day.

It was an uneventful day for the godlings, though some of the American ones did take a moment to quietly observe the memorial.

Asclepius had a small joint celebration for his birthday and his daughter Haley, who turned 5.

Poseidon returned from a short business trip, to receive a cold shoulder from Chelsea, who had secretly contacted Hades in an effort to find her mother. Needless to say, he was less-than-pleased, although Aphrodite and Medusa offered him the sympathy and welcome he felt he had missed, though Persephone and Hades were more supportive of Chelsea than of her father.

For the other godlings, it was an uneventful day.

Triton joined the ranks of the godlings that day, although the cold-hearted sea prince's reception was mixed at best. Medusa and Poseidon reserved judgment on the lad, and Chelsea took a dislike to him, although he received cordial greetings from Persephone, Hades, Nimue and Odin.

Aphrodite contacted Seth, offering to help him get revenge on Medusa after the gorgon had been feeding Poseidon stories that Aphrodite was solely to blame for Chelsea's behavior. Aphrodite agreed to make Medusa lust after Apollo, if Seth could arrange to ensure that Aphrodite received none of the blame for it.

Meanwhile, strange stories began appearing in the news. In a Texas A&M dorm, 5 students were found dead, their bodies eviscerated, after what authorities assumed was a drug-and-alcohol-fueled orgy. In an affluent Philadelphia suburb, a woman was arrested after running a swingers' club in her home when neighbors called police regarding a noise complaint--she was discovered to have killed and begun eating her guests. In a known Aryan militia encampment in Idaho, 15 men were found dead after what seemed to be sexual assaults and vicious attacks upon each other. In Lincoln, Nebraska, a riot broke out at a retirement community, and a twenty-something woman was seen leaving the area shortly afterward, though she disappeared and was remaining at large. In the wake of these events, Dionysus found himself filled with renewed vigor, while several of the godlings expressed their shock and distaste.
